breakandenter & Suma present

Ghostdance

Calling all creatures of the night! Suma & breakandenter invite you to the most haunted party in town!  A monsterous masquerade of terrifying techno, demented dubs … and free candy!

Come early, stay late … wear a costume or be doomed!

Featuring:

Daniel Bell – 3hr make-up set!

(7th City, Accelerate, Detroit)

A long-time favourite
of ours, Dan Bell is a most amazing DJ and producer who promises to
shake the dance floor with his DEEP and driving beats. Most known for
his marathon sets, this Halloween Mr. Bell will be playing a super
special 3 hour set! While living in Detroit during the 90’s, Daniel
Bell created a new musical vocabulary for techno music based on “Blips”
and “Bleeps” and streamlined repetetive rhythms. His music went on to
influence a generation of producers from Josh Wink and Richie Hawtin to
the minimal house sound in Germany. Best known for his timeless classic
“Losing Control” and releases on his label “Accelerate”.

Komodo - LIVE

(Sambal Records, komododubs.com, Montreal)

Komodo is a
Montreal-based musician and DJ who specialises in playing fast dub
basslines on the Australian didgeridoo, as well as producing heavy
beats and bass, and playing an assortment of other instruments such as
Turkish ney and bendir. His DJ sets feature live performance on his
instruments and showcase many of his original tracks produced
specifically for his live shows. He calls these tracks Komodo Dubs. And
he’s awesome!
